One Child Foundation was formed after the end of the war in Sri Lanka by a small group of friends and family members who wanted to help orphaned and destitute children. What began as personal sponsorship grew into wider support for education, nutrition and family wellbeing.
Our mission is to relieve childhood hunger among destitute children in Sri Lanka and to offer education as one of the most effective ways to escape the cycle of deprivation.
